Are you seriously that upset over an A- over an A? Its not the end of the world. I'd say taking care of your health is paramount over the small difference between an A- and an A.

Not upset so much as annoyed at myself for not balancing my life enough. Also, I want Kamal to be my PA, but he only considers straight A students.

A- = 3.9 A= 4.0 on your transcripts and in figuring your GPA? Still an A

You may want to reconsider someone who will only accept straight A students as a PA, since they may have unrealistic expectations of you as a student.

for the record, an A- IS still an A. it's just closer to a B than an A+ is.
