Freedom and equality

Seem like very big, melodramatic words, but er, today they are ENTIRELY the point. I've been calling, emailing and tweeting at undecided NY Senators to get them to support Marriage Equality. This is a bill that could go to vote any time in the next couple days and currently, it looks as though we're only one vote short.

Contacted my Senator with a thank you. Working on emailing undecideds but probably should be waiting till lunch. :-P

I need to write something up about this later. It's ridonkulous that we don't have equal rights in New York.

Cookies are excellent, but mostly I want to be able to marry a lady in my state and not have to go to CT if I so choose! Not that there is anything wrong with CT. Or cookies.

Which one is your senator?? I've been watching the senate live feed in the hopes that the vote comes up for the past three days and BOY does it have some interesting characters!
