Now I know how Adam must have felt

When they tore his rib out for Eve.

So this morning I was checking my comments and lo and behold, I'd received an anonymous note that I think was intended malevolently. I'm not sure though. So I thought about it for a while, attempting to figure out a) whether it pertained to me and b) what it was in regards to. The only thing I could come up with ( Read more... )

I don't understand why the comma of direct address seems to be so hard for people! I agree with you, hon, if people have to be nasty and cowards to boot, they should at least punctuate. Glad the weekend was not unremittingly horrible.... J t'aime.

Yeah, that date tends to suck pretty royally.....

The cast party tends to be a "what you make of it party, but try drinking more and maybe it will appear alot more fun" kind of time...

If it hurts to breathe.... stop breathing.....
(ok, just kidding on the not breathing.) Just breathe every 3rd or 4th time you normally would rather than every time. Then it hurts less often than if you were breathing all the time. Holding your breathe for extended periods between breathes will cut down on the ouchie time of breathing as well.

As far as laughter being the best medicine? The person who thought of that line of crap never had bruised or cracked ribs....

Perhaps you could dye your hair red... oh wait.. we call you red for a reason.... How about blonde? But then calling you red would seem silly... I suppose the same would be said if you dyed it dark brown or black... so I guess it will have to stay red, otherwise it would just be silly to call you red...

You are a nut -- you'll see what we do to it. ~grin~ And if she dyed it a funny color, we could call her "Red" and it would be ironic.

Nina, you might discover that the above advice makes you yawn, which would be bad. I'd just be sensible if I were you and not go dashing up or down stairs or try to play a World Cup match. (((hugs))) If you want to try icing it, I suggest using a bag of frozen peas instead.

No world cups? DAMMIT!

Actually I already promised someone that I would refrain from lifting small children up tonight. Oh and apparently I might have pulled a muscle in the pec region as opposed to bruising rib. I'm not really sure and don't really care as long as it continues to hurt.

I'm actually thinking about binding it so I can do fight practice and stuff. Why aren't bodices commonly acceptable items of clothing? It helped being laced tight into it yesterday!

And there'll still be enough red to be called "red." As long as it's just you guys...^_^ So SB, do you think that was his really sweet and touching way of saying he likes my hair the way it is? I just couldn't quite tell...^_^

I hope that your rib gets better. Take it easy and breathe the best you can. Bruised sometimes hurts more than broken. (Soft hug) Artimis is corrent the Cast party really is what you make of it. I have gone for the last few and I have always had fun. I guess I get to hang out with good peoples.

What color are we doing the hair?
