IASFM. I can't believe anyone would say that (and yet, I mean, I do). People either seem to be saying this or saying "a man should never hit his woman," thus kinda missing the point that any hitting is unacceptable (except for defense, of course, as you said). Sexism is just busting out all over, and I'm just waiting for the racism to hit as well. UGH. This is all just awful.

Wow, did she really blackout? I haven't heard the details yet besides that she was beaten quite hard, but WTF?! When the hell does a woman deserve to be smacked around?
