I want very badly to be someone's "honey, sweetheart, baby" though I don't care for the repeated "I love yous" all the livelong day. Your post sounds like something my sister would write, and I feel you on the entire thing because I don't wanna be a sickly sweet S.O., just wanna have a nice guy to hang out with and stuff!
Here here. I never really understood the appeal of being so "in love" with someone that all you ever do is spend time with them, hang all over them, coo about them and call them constantly. My first boyfriend started acting like I was the only thing in his life, and my feelings for him cooled like that. I have my own life, thanks. Why can't you have yours??
it's weird, because i've never really seen this! mostly, i see the type of couples who either hold the tips of each other's fingers, or laced grips. i don't see much PDA, or hear people giving each other baby names. In fact, i thought all that was romantic comedy pop culture lies/propaganda!
its interesting to find out that these people actually exist.
personally, i wouldn't want someone talking to me as if i am fluent in gibberish but i don't think i'd mind the nick names of "sweetheart" or something that involves inside jokes. i dunno... i never put much thought into it. the only thing I DON'T want is a dysfunctional relationship. :3
