A year in Limerick (Chapter One)

So today is my last day in Dublin, after 15.5 years in "the big smoke". The last week has been a hectic rush of closing down accounts, organising clothes, posting off my stuff which I sold on Ebay (now close to making my first thousand Euros). It's all been so frantic, that I have barely had time to think, which may well be a blessing in disguise.
