Last few days filled with apartment drama. Sandra seem to always be there when I'm going through some kind of bullshit like that (see: wallet stolen, also initial apartment hunt crap) and is always fabulous and helpful. Allowing me to use her internet and phone to call home was exactly what needed to happen and her family is wonderful for letting ( Read more... )

I like that it isn't hidden away to be treated like a dirty thing. Sex is a fact of life and I hate the stigma that's surrounds sex shops. So what if someone wants to buy a sexual aid? It's their prerogative. This is my issue with the US and how it views/treats sex. Seeing people die and get mutilated on tv is okay but heaven forbid we see girly nipples.

I am having an adventure! Getting better at breaking out of my shyness for enough time to make some good friends along the way, which for me is more fun than seeing the sights. That said, I cannot wait to get back home.

Sandra sounds awesome ^_^ I'm glad you have someone like that who can help.

Transvestite prostitutes? I think I'm jealous, but I'm not sure >.< I'm also guessing we don't get pictures, but only the images of your memories. Dang!

Yea, it's always a surprise when you realize how kind of closed America is about sex....even in Japan it was sometimes the same way. Of course, I'd imagine Europe is a LOT more open about it XD lol like that sexy channel/news channel I heard rumors of in Italy...

LOL at people and their "limited English". Most of the time I've also found they're very good, way better than I am at *their* language. At least these guys were confident enough to talk to you in their English, though!

Gah sounds like you're still having fun. Pardon me for asking again but I'm a dumbass, when are you coming back again? We miss youuu~

You would love her and her you. I'm trying to convince her to come to the US and one of her friends is totally for it so we shall work together to get her to visit. :-)

Their "limited English" is possibly better than mine. Even when they're drunk.

Japan befuddles me. That country is like a contradiction wrapped up in an enigma and dipped in the soy sauce of tradition...and now I want sushi.

I'm back July 20th.
