When you come back, if you still want a gondola ride, be REALLY pushy. How much did the guy offer as a "deal"? The gondola drivers know it's not worth as much as they're charging but they're just hoping tourists will be pushovers like me and my family were XD
As for wanting your own boat, I know the feeling. But after seeing how complicatedly the gondoliers maneuvered their boats I wasn't sure anymore XD
The masks are so expensive but they're so worth it if you have money with you :O
