i really love durango. it's like a 8-9 hour drive, but it's really beautiful. i'd also recommend whistler, but that's canada and requires a passport.

Jeff wants to stay in AZ though. Just to be sure everyone can attend. Or at least more people. Any good places here?

ah, well, there's always sunrise/pinetop/greer. that's a ski area also, not sure if that's what you're looking for, but they generally have snow during the snowy season so it might make for easy planning :)

flagstaff would be cool too. not sure of any specific lodges, isn't there something called "great america" or "little america" or something?
