Well I read it at all and enjoyed it all :) I'd like to see the finished thing, if you ever get round to it. And it's making me all sappily nostalgic for the show!

Aw, thanks! And I admire your fortitude. Heh.

I'm all nostalgic, too, after skimming through it. I may pop in some DVDs to take the edge off...

No fortitude needed, it was fun to read!

I love Buffy. I miss my show.

I read, I liked, I am too tired to comment intelligently.

Thanks for reading, period, especially knowing there was no pay-off (like, you know, a conclusion).

This is so intensely fascinating -- a very good write-up.

Thanks!

Since it is incomplete, I wonder what you're thinking about things like "instinct" and the place of moral judgment in all this? "Intuition," which is actually the core of expertise, is the focus of the next section, and I think it might be what you mean by "instinct." Moral judgment is a completely different category, though, because it depends on one's personal frame of ethics and, uh, stuff. (Hey, pre-coffee here ( ... )

Fascinating indeed! I would love to read ther est as well, yes. And I like what you say in the comment above and the contrast between Faith and Kendra... Much to ponder (which I haven't done in a while. might pop in DVDs too, hmm.)

Am now off ot read the addendum. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for reading, and for your kind words. Since it's unfinished (not to mention highly geeky), I didn't really expect many people to read it, so I'm very appreciative of those who made it through.

I should probably hand out medals or something. ;)

As a fan and knowing very little about the studies of knowledge, I'm grateful for the clear explainations and the approach to Buffy's experise and how it works. It's cool to see the science behind the examples you give of situations where Buffy 'knows' but can't explain the cues that make her so sure.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I do occasionally ponder finishing it, but I always run up against the wall of, "and then what?" I'm not sure what I'd do with it.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who finds it interesting to think about, at least. ;>
