1) What's the best idea you've gotten from the internet?
I guess probably it would be the whole idea of blogging. Although planning my whole wedding over the internet when the internet itself was still new is something I am proud of, and being able to lose weight and maintain an exercise schedule (all with an online program) has changed my life in

What did you think of the Witcher books? I'm always debating whether I want to try them.

The Witcher books are good! The first five books are of the storyline of the TV series but a little different - and just as enjoyable. The Last book - Season of Storms, is short stories of the Witcher's adventures unrelated to the aforementioned storyline. I may have enjoyed it more if I had read it first.

Hey, not sure if you've been on LJ the past few days - are you aware there's a possibility we might lose access to LJ if Putin follows through on his threat to cut Russian servers off from the web on March 11th? I think you've got my email address, but I figured you might want to know so you can try and back up your journal and/or keep track of people you only know on LJ. I have a Dreamwidth (https://ellerkay.dreamwidth.org/) and I'm friending everyone there who's got one, in case we all get cut off.

Hopefully this all comes to nothing, but better safe than sorry!

I have been considering reading the Witcher books. Would be fun to actually read them in Polish, but I have a long way to go before I can manage that.
