Our Easter Picnic last Saturday was a small affair, but it was nice.  They were all new kids so the experience was all new for them and they enjoyed it.  After we got home, I crashed on the living room carpet, then went out to get some drinks for dinner.  Having our Easter Picnic on Saturday was really nice because we could have our "nice dinner"
