Hi Everyone!  I hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Years despite everything.  I haven't updated since our dinner with friends on the 20th so that's 12 days worth of news I will try to cover here.

MIL fell in her home and broke her hip quite badly.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. I hope she'll have a full recovery. A broken hip can be quite a problem for an elderly person. We are both VERY care to not fall. We both use walkers now.

She will need all the good wishes, I think. Not just to recover but so that she can retain her memory while in the hospital. It will be difficult with us not being able to visit her. :(
