I really liked this episode, the only things that spoilt it for me were that Dean refused bacon, always a bad sign, hee hee, and the monster looked like a reject from the original series of Star Trek! But I can see what you mean about Dean killing a human. Perhaps if Lee (not Wayne!) had shown some remorse and said he'd hand himself in, Dean would've let him live. Also he didn't just kill him, it was a fair fight, a kill or be killed one.

I did like the references to Texas and it being called Swayzes. And I am concerned about Death's Key, it will no doubt be back at some point.

I thought this was a great episode to get Dean back in the game You fight for it...

As far as killing Lee, he betrayed the idea of hunters and Dean personally and didn't show any remorse, and there wouldn't have been any way to have Lee legitimately arrested for murder, so I felt Dean was justified. Plus it was in the middle of a fight for his life!

Not too happy with how careless Cas was with Sam, but at least he was prepared for Sergei's blackmail...

I really fear Eileen's second chance is going to be short-lived (but she had an awesome line to Cas saying she was dead I got better LOL)

I really enjoyed this one! I loved Jensen and Christian's chemistry and the Sam stuff hit my hurt/comfort kink. :P

Love Dean rolling the head of the monster through the door.
YES, that was fantastic!

I wasn't particularly bothered by Dena killing Leo. I don't love it when the boys kill humans, but they've been doing it for years, when necessary (maybe sometimes not when necessary, but I'm maybe used to it by now lol). I guess the point here was that Dean couldn't exactly have Leo arrested, and he couldn't be trusted not to do something like this again when he'd shown such utter disregard for other people's lives in the name of his own comfort.

I actually have a theory/headcanon about Dean's singing but I should probably think about it and make it a post at some point...
