In the Beginning

Grrrr... LJ just erased my post!  Not that I had much writing in it, but still frustrating to have to rewrite.

I am enjoying Season 4 in my early season rewatches now and I realized I needed more gifs in my In the Beginning review so I made some.  Here are some bigger versions of a nice scene.

Wow, gorgeous gifs! He always cries so good but I think he's somehow even more amazing than usual in that scene.

Monster Movie and Yellow Fever are two of my top favorite episodes! And Jensen doing Eye of the Tiger is probably one of my most beloved things Show has ever given us. XD

He was amazing this scene - the build up from when Mary is talking about how she wasn't going to let her kids become hunters to wiping the tears and smiling in apology... gah... Glad you enjoyed the gifs!

The beginning of season 4 really was so great, it was just one classic episode after another, and even the episodes that weren’t standouts were still very strong. I know that Castiel gets most of the credit for the show exploding in popularity that year, but it seemed like they were on a roll anyway with the episodes. Lazarus Rising, Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester, In The Beginning, Monster Movie, and Yellow Fever are all among some of the best episodes the show ever produced

Definitely not about Cas for me, although he was great too. Amazing eps!

Good questions about Mary & John at the end of the ep. I'm seeing more and more of this sort of thing in current and past TV shows. There's so much of it now that I'm chalking it all up to TV Logic. In other words, some things you're just not supposed to question. lol
