Unfortunately because of the previews/ending from the previous show we all knew what was going to happen, which took some of the impact out of this episode. I really wish they'd stop doing that. I have to say that for me, I never cared for Mary, so it wasn't a big loss. The ending is what got me. Cas trying to go to Dean & Sam stopping him. I did like Sam pointing thease issues out to Dean & Dean actually listening to him. They've all made mistakes. It will be interesting to see what happens with Jack & if Sam & Dean both agree to take him out. There was also a lot of foreshadowing for things to come - Mary & John being in Heaven together. Maybe this is how the show will end, with all of them together in Heaven as a family.
Yes, we had a pretty big indication last week of Mary's death. I was ok with it though, I think because I needed to be able to say goodbye to her last ep in order to focus on those left behind this ep.
I don't have too many feelings for her either, although I do not dislike her.
I liked this episode in some ways and in some ways not, first the shipper part, Sam still stood up for Cas as he always does lol now I think we knew Mary was gone and I wasn't really sad about it I felt bad for Dean because he lost his mom twice and it must of been hard for him to process I am glad they let her just go to heaven and I am happy they got to give her a hunter's funeral. They got to have a bit of a end to something she was complete. I am so nervous for the last few episodes but over all this is a way better season then the last and I am glad about that.
