My first day of work was good! I really enjoyed being back in class with the kids. Today we also had our first choir practice of the year. The challenge now is the claps that we have to fit into the Spanish piece

There really were some great episodes in season 1. It' so funny watching them now to see how young and fresh-faced the boys were. I liked Henriksen, I wish we could have seen more of him - especially after he found out the truth.
I LOVED Usual Suspects <3<3 and Nightshifter <3<3 Why can't they make more of these kinds of eps?! Our first intro to Henriksen<3
I loved them too, early on I always enjoyed the episodes where they wrote Sam and Dean as outlaws in a way and having to outsmart the cops and the FBI.
And Henriksen was one of my favourite recurring characters, I was so bummed that they killed him off as soon as he found out the truth, it would have been cool to have them as their contact in the FBI for a few seasons...
They really should have several contacts in the FBI from all the jobs they've done, helping them get out of messes. More people like Jody and Donna too.
Yes, I miss those kinds of episodes too. When the show focused on them and mythology. I feel we get a whiff of it every once in a while, but not the whole nine yards, and I really thought them being on the FBI wanted list would pop up more often than it has. Ses 2 is my all time fave to be honest.
I'm late to comment here lol but I'm loving reading about your enjoyment of these early seasons. :D S1 & 2 are not my top faves, but there is so much I love in them. I noticed last time I watched S2 how it's just great episode after great episode.
Simon Says and Croatoan both have some really amazing stuff, and Nightshifter has long been one of my favorites. And Crossroad Blues is one that I really came to love on re-watch. Once you know how elegantly it's setting up the end of the season, it's so affecting. Especially with how Dean keeps saying how wrong the demon deals are, and thinking about John selling his soul, but of course when it comes to Sam...*weeps*
Forgive me if you already know this, but Weekly World News was a real publication! I mean, a completely outrageous one with made-up stories (Bat Boy came from WWN, if you're familiar with that silliness), but it was real. It still exists online, I believe. A friend of mine used to get the paper issues when I was in high school, lol.
So glad you enjoyed reading! The first seasons are knit soooo tight! I love rewatching, knowing what happens in the future. Of course Dean feels terrible when Dad is giving his life for him, but would do the same for Sam!😢

I did not know that! That is really interesting!😆So it was actually a tribute, just like to all those old horror movies!

I like Roadkill. I felt like it managed to give us a ghost's point of view without demystifying ghosts
