I really loved this episode, the only downside to me was the lack of screen time for Dean and Sam - and that Joshua was a different actor but he was on screen so briefly that hardly mattered! However, as we've haven't seen Cas in a while it was great to have him back and in a really interesting, pivotal story line. I feel like Cas really is a Winchester now he's lied and deceived to try to save his brothers!

I agree with all your comments and I love the screencaps, especially Cas with gold eyes. I love the Mary and Joseph vibe from Cas and Kelly, it was so sweet when he felt not-Jesus kick and they held hands. Misha looked gorgeous in this episode, especially after not-Jesus healed him!

This episode disappointed me a lot the writing I found lacking and I felt like Cas was just not thinking but I like how Sam is always defending him Cas even if his decision is not the best i felt they played in to shippers in this episode but maybe if I watch it again I will like it

That´s too bad. I´m sorry you could not enjoy it. Seeing Cas lie and manipulate is def not fun.

To me, the golden eyes seemed evil, and Cas seemed brainwashed at the end. I found it disturbing.

Also I wanted Dean to stop being so mad at Cas. But wasn't he once able to hear their prayers?

Both sound thrilling to me!! But Cas really does need a win. Hope he gets one.

He probably could hear everything and ignored it because he thought it was necessary.

I must be honest, I found this ep so boring I had trouble keeping focussed. There was waaaay to little Sam and Dean for me, and I didn't find the other characters very interesting, so I voted 'not worth a rewatch'. Castiel was already off my 'like' list ,and this ep really didn't help that fact at all.

I really hope next weeks ep will be better. :/

Watching the ep once was okay to see where the storyline is going, but all the scenes with seen-the-light!Kelly and contrary!Cas feel pretty meh upon a rewatch. The ep could've totally used more Sam and Dean.

Kelly and Cas seem like they've been brainwashed; both first thought the kid is evil and blam, suddenly the kid shows them things to make them think completely the opposite. And the kid makes Cas leave the boys (his family!) lying there unconscious. It just doesn't feel very comforting, nor is the eye color produced by the kid very promising. I guess Show wants to keep us in the dark about the kid, but shifty!evasive!Cas doesn't have a great track record and him betraying Team Free Will kinda makes me angry.

Cas being wrong and being brainwashed again would be one of the disappointing aspects of the baby turning out to be evil. I am really tired of that, which is one reason I hope he is right this time.
