I love that beautiful face, but it also breaks my heart.

In my opinion, that's Dean's "Someone I love just betrayed me and I'm so hurt and angry but NOT AT ALL surprised because everyone eventually does" face. He's given it to Sam and Cas before multiple times each. :(

It is a very painful face.

Time will tell how much he has grown since and how he handles the situation this time, although I guess it will really be up to Sam.
