It's been a while since I made a Sunday post. And today isn't really a typical Sunday. Julian didn't have any basketball practice in the morning, so we actually all got to sleep in today until around 10ish. Oh my, I'm glad I just finished dinner a little while ago (with apple pie and ice cream for dessert) because that looks and sounds yummy. You must be a very good cook to come up with recipes on the fly like that.

It would be awesome with an apple filling, a cherry filling, blueberry filling, rhubarb... any fruit that you'd put in a pie stewed with sugar. Sour fruits like rhubarb and cherries might taste even better because the topping is sweet.

The topping is so simple and you don't have to roll it out like with pie dough aye?

I tend to be a bit more imaginative when I have the time - as I do now on holiday. I hope to make up for all the boring meals I gave my kids during the year ;)
