raelee and I went to Warner Brothers today with coffee creamer (individual cups and powder), napkins, granola bars, and fruit. All were appreciated and all were labeled with the "Write No Evil!" flyer.
We also got to spend some time talking to Sera, Jeremy, and Catherine. Ben was home working on one of those giant street theatre puppets. (I hope he brings it to the rally on Friday so I can get a look at it! And a picture for you guys. Sounds intense.)
Sera wrote this week's episode and she is really proud of it. Everyone agreed the the script was great to start with and that the actors and the director (Phil Sgriccia) made it even better. (I am so excited!) All the writers really just want to get back to work. They said that starting with "Fresh Blood" there are a string of seriously good episodes and that it sucked to have to stop writing right as the pace was picking up.
They are all big TV fans themselves and chatted with us about tons of shows including Veronica Mars, Heroes, Moonlight, The Office, Rescue Me, and Nip/Tuck. We also heard about some of the pilots they have written that didn't make it to series and what they were working on before they landed their current gigs at SPN.
raelee and I (or maybe just Rae) will likely post more about our day on the picket lines on
