I'm still loving your fic--and the dynamic between Bobby and Sam. It's a quiet understanding between them, and I really enjoy seeing that side of Sam.

The Sam-Bobby part of this fic and the previous one was a total fluke to begin with, I started building that relationship because of a twist I wanted to work into the traditional brotherly bonding the show had kept showing to that point - that Dean was able to bond with kids, or connect with them, because of having raised Sammy. I still think the show could gain a lot by delving into Sam's psyche a bit - and showing his relationship with a child within the plot development of a show would be a great way to do that.
But, hey ... I'm just a fic writer .... *grin*
And thanks for reading!

I also wanted to comment that I love the elements of good/evil in your fic. The show focuses so much on the evil and often skirts around the good--I really wish they'd explore that realm further, especially in context of Sam's faith (which seems to have been dropped this season, which is a real shame). I just find it to be a fascinating addition here.

There is a lot out there regarding special needs children being able to communicate with angels, of people in great stress leaning on their faith with sometimes surprising results. And yet, just like with Annie, our prayers aren't always answered ... it's all a fascinating way to explore an area I really haven't seen with the show. Evil seems easier to "sell" - while "good" tends to recieve a bad connotation a lot of times.
And thank you so much - I love to know you're reading - you know how much I admire your own fic as well. *grins*
