Dear LiveJournal,

I mailed my letters to frill_decor and tunafish today, and I had an adventure doing it! Here is what happened!

I was busy decorating the envelopes after writing the letters and made them look all colorful and stuff except it was so colorful that I FORGOT TO PUT STAMPS! One of the letters was already in the mail slot before I realized what happened, ( Read more... )

That's a crummy mail system!! You should at least be able to open your own mailbox. Ahhhhh!!

Well, hopefully the postman is nice hahaha.

I've been away all week.. but since I'm home I'll be able to reply to your letter!

Lol, you can open your own mailbox, but the mail slot leads to a separate cubby thing for outgoing stuff, which is locked and can only be opened by the mailman.

:) Your post(wo)man is so nice, having stamped the letter for you!

The system sure is a flaw for apartment areas, but w/out it, it's either you can take other people's outgoing mail or that the post(wo)man would have to open up all your cubbies to get all of the outgoing mail!! A big hassle, I'm sure. :(
