Oh, very much so. :) But I haven't seen any of the Saw movies.

I've only seen the first Saw and I spent most of it with my head in my friend's armpit.

Should I find you the list of movies we watched in my Japanese Horror class two years ago?

Awww, yeah, Saw is pretty darn scary! There's a midnight showing of Saw 3 that I don't think I could go to and still sleep successfully through the night. I don't know why but I loves me some scary movies!

I'd be interested in a list of Japanese Horror films, but don't feel like you have to find it for me. But if you run across it randomly... =)

eeeep no. Add to the psychological creep factor the fact that I get shocky at the sight of too much gore (could not watch Battle Royale AT ALL), and Saw was JUST shy of too much for me.

Plus, wtf Wesley you are not an American doctor!

You know what, I did try to find it for you. But the course website is gone and the syllabus is not in the small bit of class notes I found. ANYWAY, here's a few for you, from the notes or memory:

Kyua (Cure) - interesting detective angle
Kôrei (Seance) - AWESOME DETECTIVE ANGLE, bad CGI and very underacted
Ju-on (The Grudge) - the classic.
Ôdishon (Audition) - I missed most of class that day, and I think I'm glad I did 0_0 supercreepy AND superviolent!
Uzumaki - feh. He also assigned the manga, which was much better.

And the original Dark Water, which I guess I also missed class for. Bad student!!

They are all ridiculously slow, but very creepy. My prof was all about the psychological horror and body horror, more than just *pop out of the bushes* *chop slash spurt ( ... )
