Summary: It’s after midnight when Jessica shows up outside his window.
It’s after midnight when Jessica shows up outside his window. They’ve just gotten back from Dallas, and the only one she wants to see is him. He’s kept her company on the phone every night while Sookie and Bill went and did their whole investigation thing.
She knocks on the window carefully, waiting for him. When he opens them up she wraps her arms tightly around him. Hoyt chuckles softly, returning the embrace.
“My mother will kill me if she finds out I have a girl here after dark.”
His protests seem to end as soon as she kisses him.
