I've been checking CL every few days. This RSS magic you speak of sounds more useful than what I've been doing.
I could probably figure it out, but having you tell me would save me time I could be spending on homework.

go to craigslist
do the search you want
down near the bottom right, there will be an orange box with RSS in it
that is your RSS link. If you have a regular rss reader (google reader, inforss, whatever) then add that link to your rss aggregator
inforss is nice (if you use firefox) because your RSS feeds scroll across your status bar, and as soon as you see what you want, you can click on it.

inforss is nice (if you use firefox) because your RSS feeds scroll across your status bar, and as soon as you see what you want, you can click on it.
