I think this may be the only SJ episode I didn't like thus far. :/
The animation sure was lovely, but the story and delivery of the jokes didn't flow with it at all. It seemed like the dialogue just sort of picked at it every now and again. It felt and sounded quite mainstream. Not to mention the lame mecha parody, meh. The organ monster looked like jello too.
And even though they are my favorite characters, the Twins and Jared were unnecessary, especially the former. I mean, the Doctor could have just knocked that over into the preservation fluid. Jared was useless and him being ripped apart was just wasteful if he wasn't even going to do anything significant.
If anything, it was Alice who was awesome. Everything she said was just gold, and her ass. You have to admit, that was a fine ass.
This episode was pretty hilariously awesome. Alice was freaking great. The good doctor was kinda horrifying... The mecha-drill bot was one of the best things ever, even without the racing stripes. Gary and the bird were pilots! And you gotta love those helmets.
Jeez since people complained so much last episode about it not being "violent enough," I was assuming people would eat this one up. But people still complain. Whatever, dudes.
