Man, I've got to introduce you to my friend. She's... Well... She makes me feel like I've got a heart, but... I think it's possible. Always have even if I don't act like it sometimes. Besides, isn't 'lust' just a psychological thingy?

It truly depends on the definition of lust we are following.

Depends on the kind you're talking about, I guess.

I was talking about both. I just felt there was no need to articulate psychologically and sexually.

[This is interesting. And a thought in his thought bubble begins: 'It reminds me of--' but is cut off before the name.]

I think so. If you're capable of living without a heart, then I don't see why you wouldn't be capable of gaining feelings.

Adaption, it's not unheard of. Such a phenomena would explain some of the behavior I've encountered.

Some of the behavior you've encountered...? I do think it's possible to adapt to just about anything, yes.

After all, we're all living in an underwater bubble right now.

A true statement.

Behavior... beings with no hearts behaving as if they do. No rationality to their actions, just whims and desires and thus following them.

...Tch. A heart is something you develop through experiences. I don't see why it couldn't be possible to "lose" it, and still start to feel again.

What about when your heart has taken form all it's own?

Taken "form"?

[Kanda frowns. He clearly hasn't heard of such a thing.]

Explain.

Should you ever run into a tall man with tan skin and white hair that calls themselves "Ansem, Seeker of Darkness", that would be my heart.

How can a person live without a heart? Wouldn't they be dead if that happened? What would pump all the blood?

Such a cute observation, my dear.

No, my body is just fine. It's more my spiritual heart, my feelings and emotions have fled.

[ She frowns a bit. ]

They've fled? Can emotions and feelings leave a person?

The vicious intentions of one's heart can surprise a person. Though I suppose not all of my comrades have the issue of the heart fleeing of its own accord.

Having trouble with your bubble?

[Looks over at the bubble that is calmly floating beside him, yet overcome with words. A lot of them, endlessly.]

No, it seems to be functioning the way I would hypothesize it should.

Then, um.... It shows emotion, so...

Mine seems to just show thoughts pertaining to emotions. Old hypothesis', methods of recovering hearts, pondering of the usefulness of a heart...

It would seem it's trying to compute emotion in and of itself rather than display what I do not have.
