That was beautiful. Especially the use of alternating voices. Thank you.

Thanks! This was my first time writing with two voices, but it clicked for this story. Glad it worked for ya. :)

Bobby is killing me with this. Mutant ninjas! He's just so ... enthusiastic. And Hank is so perspicuous. I think. If that's a word.

Scott deciding he will hanglidefirewalkjumprope or whatever is great twist. This was hilarious.

I think Bobby relies on Hank to reign him. If Hank's not stopping him, then whatever he's doing MUST be a good idea, right?

Meanwhile, Hank argues that if he weren't there, Bobby would be getting up to something a million times worse. This is how these things get going.

I see that Scott unwinding is rather like a snapped mainspring -- full of energy, dangerous to all around...

Oh, Hank and Bobby are so adorable. Way in over their heads, but what else is new? Hank should really stop letting Bobby's enthusiasm overwhelm his own judgment.

'Mutant Ninja Geniuses' should be the name of a band, I think.

Scott has a wild and crazy side, usually hidden behind a layer of responsibility. Take that away, and BOOM.

Hank knows he should know better, but listening to Bobby makes life more interesting. Not necessarily safer or saner, but definitely more interesting.

I'd give "Mutant Ninja Geniuses" a listen!

Hahahahaha. Man, this is brilliant. Though I may choose to privately belive that Scott worked out the unransoming plan with the Professor (or possibly Jean) and then took the permission to go crazy. Because Mutant Ninja Tactical Genius trumps everything.

Oh, Scott definitely had a chat with the Professor. :D
