Good essay, Miss Gordon! :) I'm not a big Bruce/Jason fan (I'm sure you know which Robin is my preference ;) ) but you wrote this so well I can see why people see this pairing. A little sad that the blond, happy Jason of pre-Crisis turned so dark.

Glad you liked it! Yeah, Jason's been screwed over pretty much constantly. It's no wonder he turned out so dark! :D

Cool essay. I never really knew much about Pre-Crisis Jason, so it was great to hear about what the character was like before the more current incarnation. You do a good job of outlining the pairing and showing that there's definitely a lot there and a lot to work with.

Thanks! Yeah, it's hard to get ahold of Pre-Crisis Jason canon, but it's well worth it.

Those weren't jokes; I think he really does have Stockholm syndrome.

The info about pre-crisis Jason is particularly interesting and somewhat new to me. I can see why it got retconned, but still... it's something, all right.
