In case no one has noticed a pattern, I tend to disappear for a week at the end of a month/beginning of the next month due to the chaos I go through in my job to financially close out each month. It is really great to see you back! I'm the same way about disappearing during the month-end close. I always come back super behind and I feel like I've really missed out.

That's so awesome that they did that...considering how they normally don't give a darn about ANYONE!! But..you are not just anyone :-) The note was especially touching. That's great you can check something else off of your registry..and I'm sure it helps to have all these bonuses before the baby comes :-)

And you know how much I love your house. It really is warm and inviting and cozy. I really which we had a real fireplace.

I had never heard of a cookie exchange before Mike's mom suggested we have one for our new neighborhood. I just wasn't into planning it so we didn't this year..but def next year...esp since now we have furniture for people to sit on!!!!! Have a blast

PS...165 CARDS?!?!? Are you nuts??? I thought my whopping 45 was a lot this year because of the wedding save the dates. GEEZ!!!

It's so good to hear from you, btw. These monthly financials sound like a killer! Although, apparently you are blowing them out of the water month after month - GO YOU for the big props from well-respected people in your field! :) And what a great surprise (x2) those bonus are, huh? I work in a bonus-stingy gov't, so those just seem so extra exciting to me ;)

I didn't know that you are studying to be a librarian! What a fabulous job! I loved "my" librarians at my school library and at the public library. How neat! Your house is definitely cozy!!!
