Jeremiah chuckled at the excitedness of his small lover, setting his own mug on the table beside him as Jacuzzi sat down.

"And why wouldn't it be?" he asked curiously with a tilt of the head, wrapping his arms around the other. "The magic of the season doesn't just go away with time. Or at least, I should hope it wouldn't."

The smaller boy nuzzled into his lover's chest, sighing wistfully as he looked up at him.

"Because this world is so...violent. It doesn't seem like the people here...really care about each other."

The Britannian man frowned a bit at his boyfriend's words, lifting a hand to pet the back of Jacuzzi's head.

"These are violent times, I'm afraid. I'm hoping they'll change soon, but..." he trailed off, staring off at the wall across from him. It wasn't likely that Zero would let up anytime in the near future. Shaking his head, he continued with a smile, "But I care about you. Doesn't that count?"

"I lived in violent times, too" Jacuzzi said, setting his mug to the side and wrapping his arms around Jeremiah's waist, burying his head in the other's chest.

"Everything was run by gangs. But we didn't have any of this technology that's here now. A lot of it seems pretty scary. And of course it counts; you're my boyfriend, silly!"

The emotional man couldn't stop his tears from falling any longer; he just hope Jeremiah knew they were of happiness and not sadness. "I love you..." he murmured softly into the older man's ear, sniffling.

"I love you, too, Jacuzzi," Jeremiah replied softly, stroking the younger boy's back in what he hoped was a comforting manner.

Jacuzzi smiled as he dried his tears on his already dampened shirt sleeve. He righted himself on Jeremiah's lap, wrapping his arms tightly around the other and pressing their lips together, intent on not leaving an inch of space between them.
