hehe thanks. :-) for our wedding, the florist got a bunch of different types of bowls (from target) to keep the cost down instead of using traditional japanese flower arrangement crocks. it worked out really well.

(i'm trying to keep myself from going to target to pick up friends for him.)

i have a really bad addiction to plates, bowls and silverware.

What type of plates and bowls do you have now?
I have this intense attraction to square plates but I don't know if I could actually handle them. Dealing with my very domestic side is hard enough, this consumer in me to buy domestic goods is even more odd!

oh man. i should get one of each of every style that i have and put them in a lineup and take a picture of it.

we usually use corelle for everyday stuff, but for special times, or pretty pictures, i'll use one of the pretty ones.

you don't know! i'm so excited there are actually folks we can have dinner with w/o asking, "does this have any gelatin, eggs, rennet, etc.."

Ooooh, do you remember the name of it? I have only been to one Korean restaurant, and they not only laughed at us for not knowing how to eat some of the foods, but they served me a block of tofu with a tiny bit of soy sauce drizzled on top. Ugh. I'm ready to try a place that knows about more than just serving a block of tofu!

That looks so good! I wish I could eat it all!
Might as well have thrown some beets, acocados and cranberries in there and called it anti-webly soup!
