south end press, awesomer than i previously thought

we get a lot of catalogs for academic texts and stuff at work. the new south end press catalog features cover art by the wonderful and talented cristy road, a member of our lovely zine community.

weird! my (friend? acquaintance? political ally?) works for south end press & was talking about cristy road a lot for a while. he wanted her to come do an event to promote that "doing stuff & making things" books, which was weird, because she didn't write it. now i know why he was all hung up on her.
