I'm so impressed by this picture! I love the colors and the poses and their expressions above all! It's lovely seeing Clark looking so protective, although they don't seem to mind the rain at all and this makes this interaction between them even more intense. :) Is this watercolors? I love how you use them! *admires*

Protective!Clark is really the best look on him, innit? (Well, no, I'm sure there's other, less seen, better looks on him, but they didn't seem so appropriate for this prompt. Even if the dirty BatSupes fan in me kept loudly insisting otherwise...) This is indeed watercolors, and the first time I've picked them up in yeeeeeeaaars, so I'm totally relieved some people seem to be liking them! Thank you.

No, really! The rain, and the shading, and Bruce's suit, and Clark's face and their lips and... and the HAIR... "Wow" is the only word that quite fits, and even then it's not nearly enough. *_*

When the window opened, my jaw dropped. This is amazing. The lines of their faces, and Bruce's arm, the S on Clark's chest, and the COLOR. The color is amazing. Wow.

D'awww, thank you! I mentioned this above, but I wasn't at all sure the coloring was going to go well (with a medium I haven't picked up in forever, by which I mean six years) and I'm beyond grateful that it worked for you ^_^;; Thank you for commenting~!

Hee, thank you ^^ That is indeed watercolor--my first foray into it in a long, long time, actually (and it was hardly a matter of controlling the paint for me; I really didn't know what to do, which left me with no choice but to be very careful XD) No pencil on top--in fact, it was sketched in pencil in my sketchbook, scanned, printed onto watercolor paper in purple ink (I dunno why, but purple is the magic color for watercoloring) and then paint was applied ^^)

Oohh. Neat way to apply effects. :D I shall have to keep that in mind if I'm ever forced to use watercolors.
