Know anyone who immediately ramps things into a state of frenzy for no reason? That's my boss. On Wednesday, we got scheduled an appointment for some non-English speakers, who happen to speak a language the State hasn't yet had a lot of information translated into, yadda. Boss goes into panic mode. Tells me I'm getting the appointment, flails

I don't expect that people who come here HAVE to speak English... but if they make no effort after being settled here for a considerable period of time, then yeah, i don't look upon them favourably ...

It just seems like after forty years, a person would have had plenty of time to learn enough for basic conversation.
