Absolutey. I've been glued to the TV all day. Very sad. One of my friends I make movies with up here lives less than an hour away from Virginia Tech, and knew a bunch of people who were in class there today. As far as he knows they're all okay. But wow. Whenever stuff like this or September 11th happens, it makes you think deeply about mortality. And all of society's problems. I mean how does someone who does stuff like that get produced? You'd think there'd be checks and balances in society to keep someone that unstable from reaching the point where he could do something like this. But I guess it's what happens when America tries to treat deep-seeded personal issues with surface-level cures and pretend the problems are solved. Very sad.
