My mom just asked me why everyone else seems to understand assignments and I don't.

The answer is that I don't know. But she's right.

And I think I should quit before I flunk out.

I have no clue why I'm still here.

don't quit. i never understand assignments and always have to bother other people to tell me what to do. i guess we're just different than everyone else. but just because you need to call someone to figure out the right way to do an assignment doesn't mean you have to flunk out.

ps. it's mlk day tomorrow. and we have no school. SO BE HAPPY!

I'd say that you learn differently from other people. Some are hands on learners and some are visual learners. Either that or your teacher has some wacked out way of explaining the work. I always help out people in my class but I explain it in a different way than when it was taught and they always say it was easier when I explained it. Anyway, don't quit! You've been in IB for almost three years and I'd hate to see you quit when you're nearly done. You better not give up or I'll make your butt cave in! :)
