This looks so tastey, and there's so many ways to change it up. May I ask what you used as your broth?

i just boiled 2 chicken drumsticks for around 1.5 hours.
and the veggies i boiled for around an hour. you can boil longer if u want a tastier soup.
or..if u dont want to wait that long, u can always use chicken stock. ^_^

it's so good! when i was a kid and my mom made that soup for dinner, i would refuse to eat any other veggies or rice and just want to drink THAT soup alone. XD

it does look good, and after reading that it has no other spices , I think I'd have to put some salt and pepper and some terikai sauce on it....maybe even some stir-fried pork pieces.....or chicken.

thumbs up tho....gonna have to try it for sure.

oh and ah....

Oh yeah,.....I meant teriyaki sauce. I use it all the time, on chicken, pork, fish. Last night my wife cooked some salmon on a cedar board on the grill, the fish was marinated in teriyaki sauce, salt and pepper, and grilled. Tasted real good too.

grin....
