Oh, and I used corn rather than flour tortillas, which probably stand up better to the moisture. They're also better for you in terms of glycemic index.
Ah, ok. I've never seen corn tortillas here though, you can't even find corn flour in the grocery store. (We're not big on cornbread and stuff here in Canada lol.)
If you have any bodegas (Latino grocery stores) in your area, you should be able to find them there. You might also inquire specially at your grocer -- if they don't carry them, perhaps they can direct you to another retailer who does. Oh, and you can learn to make your own, too! I've got a recipe in case you're interested.
