"Knock, knock~" Aer called as she walked in, throwing the backpack on the unmade, and thus unoccupied bed and let her duffel fall to the floor as she smiled at the other girl. "I'm Aer, and you should be my roommate!" It wasn't a question, which might have been rude, but Aer felt sure of herself and the conclusion. There was no one else in here, after all.

"Yeah, hi! I'm Misao!" Always one for social pleasantries, she darted forward and held out a hand. "I didn't know when to expect you, since no one said when you'd be in. But, as you can see, I've unpacked so at least the place isn't a mess!"

"You didn't have to unpack for me. I'm used to navigate difficult terrain," laughing, Aer stepped back and kneeled down by at her duffelbag, unpacking the few sets of clothes and underwear that she had. Some of it was getting rather worn, she might have to get more...
"And it took me longer to get here than I thought... I missed the train when it passed by Esthar, so I had to run after it... How did you get here?" Sometimes, Aer hardly talked to new people; there had been especially one person at her school that had just rubbed her the wrong way, but roommates were always important to try and get on with.

"Oh, y'know. I took the train, same as most everyone. I'm from Armlock, so the stops are pretty frequent. You had to run after it, you said? Where were you when it passed Esthar?"
What was on the tip of her tongue was How fast do you run, that you were able to catch up with the Sky Train? but she didn't ask. Then it occurred to her that her new roommate had just insinuated that her messy room would have been akin to 'difficult terrain.' Misao scuffed a foot against the ground and swore to herself she was going to do a better job about making her bed this year.
