Seto didn't look much like a prospective student - what with his flared white trenchcoat and bulky gray laptop bag strapped over his shoulder. However, he made a beeline straight for Kurogane, stopping shy of the man and folding his arms.

"The teacher, I presume?"

Ahhh, the first student!

"Yes," Kurogane replied, reaching into a pocket of his jacket and withdrawing a small writing pad and a pen. "And who are you?"

"Kaiba Seto."

His tone was probably a touch too blunt, but he honestly couldn't care less. Either this class would be worthwhile or a waste of his time - in which case he wouldn't come any more - and that was that.

Kurogane wrote something down on his writing pad, flipped it close, and placed it back into his pocket, along with his pen. If he was irritated, irked, or otherwise annoyed by Kaiba's tone, he gave no indication, simply moved right on to business.

"Can you run a mile?"

She'd seen the tall boy run the mile, though had waited until he was finished, more because it was funny seeing the guy shrug off his trench coat. Who brought a trench coat to gym? Taking off the jacket she'd thrown on earlier, Aer jogged up in a t-shirt and sweatpants.

"This is where the gym lesson is, right?" Idly bouncing on the balls of her feet and fingering her necklace, Aer craned her neck to look the teacher in the eye. So many tall people.

Uhoh. This one looked... bouncy. Still, Kurogane nodded in response to her question.

"It is," he said simply. Like with Kaiba, he pointed towards the library. "First you need to run a mile. To the south-east corner of the building, to the north-east corner, then across the field to the north-west corner of the garden, to the south-west corner, and then back to me twice is a mile."

"Aye, aye~" While the salute was sloppy and the words playful, there was a certain exactness about the words and the movement, before Aer turned, eyeballing the distance, then jumped up and down in place a few times before she took off. She started at a jog, keeping that for almost half the distance before she broke out into a smooth run. She could run the whole way, she knew. But since gaining the ability to (be free) fly, anything above a jog made her legs ache to lift off the ground, made her almost take that small jump and shoot off.

And since that wasn't the reason for this exercise, she held herself back. She'd make well within the average, she always did. Maybe she could even shave off a few seconds on the eight minutes it usually took her? Probably not, since she'd started off at a jog. Coming back, Aer slowed down to a jog again before she stopped, and looked to Kurogane. One of these days she was going to sprain her neck.
"What now?"

The exactness of the gestures earned Aer a thoughtful look as she jogged away, but that look had long since faded by the time she returned. Her time was noted down, and then Kurogane gave her the same set of instructions that he had given Seto -- twenty sit ups and twenty push ups -- and once again recorded her progress.

It took Orihime a few minutes to find the area posted on her timetable, but she arrived only moments after another girl set off on a circuit of the grounds. After watching her for several seconds more, she turned to the teacher and gave him a greeting and a gesture that looked like a strange mix of a wave and a bow.

"Orihime Inoue," she told him cheerfully, "Do I have to run too?"

Roxas had seriously considered not showing up for this whole ordeal. Gym, as far as he was concerned, was rather useless in most aspects-- but he did need speed for what he did, so he'd might as well.

He came in behind some girl with bright orange hair, keeping himself quiet as she spoke. He'd wait for it to be his turn; might as well be courteous.
