Happy Birthday Nugget, wherever you are. It's been 11 years now since I had to say goodbye, and I've missed you and Velvet every day. You were both such wonderful pups and I had no idea how lucky I was to have you both as long as I did.

Such a lovely dog he was. Condolences again to you for your losses. I'm still shattered by my Bucky's death. I know I'll carry his memory with me to the end of my days. *tight hugs*

I don't think we ever recover from losing our pups, and we definitely will never forget. All we can do is rebuild and try to cherish their memory. I know I'll carry both Nugget and Velvet's memories with me always.
