hmm...well that certainly is interesting, isn't it? And while I don't have any idea of my own (other than toying with dots and noticing that you can make geographical squares using the number of dots for any squared number, and hey, squares have 4 sides, right....), I notice that our good friends on wikipedia have written down some proofs if you can make sense of them.
Did I ever mention that I took "Calculus for Business Students" in college? It was great, far easier than my calculus in high school and...yesh, I never went beyond that.

I did love statistics, though, so much more than regular math. :)
