We started this breakfast tradition in 2006 while nor & jw were busy job-hunting and were mostly free in the mornings on weekdays.. :D Who knows, 3 years down the road, we're still fiercely keeping to this tradition of kaya toast & eggs for breakfast, although it only takes place on the weekends now since they are all busy working :p

The breakfast story.. )

This makes me warm and fuzzy inside! :)

It has been a great tradition hasn't it? Haha maybe with Toastbox getting more crowded, we might find greener pastures? ;p

I hope we'll still be doing this years from now! Even when JW has his cute kids next time!!!

Kiliney's toast is over-rated leh. Don't like the atmosphere as well. =X

I still like Ah Mei's - even if don't want to eat toast, their sandwich also power. Why on earth can't they expand that place?!

But it has a real kopithiam atmosphere! Ah Mei's and Toastbox are in shopping centers, where's the traditional atmosphere??

And actually if you want a spacious Ah Mei's, can just go to the one at IOI Plaza. It's damn huge and empty lol

Your breakfast tradition is awesome. Gotta give you all props for sticking it through for so many years. Wish I had my own tradition too. Sadly, most of my friends kinda drift apart during the many transitions :(

Yeah, friends do drift apart as we all embark on different paths in our lives, that's sad but i guess unavoidable. We don't need big group of friends, the same small constant group is good enough ;)

We'll have our tradition someday too. Like maybe pigout sessions and picnics. LMAO.
