Participating in Help Japan auction

Hi all,

I've signed up under "words" (I think that's the category) and offered to write a 1000 word minimum story as part of the Help Japan fandom auction.  I'll write in any of the fandoms on this journal, and also Wild Adapter.  I'll also happily write within the parameters of any of my Saiyuki AUs if anyone would like that, or (and this would be ( Read more... )

Thank you! I've added the link. Er, it's not such a large thing, I guess. I'm very impressed with the auction mods who are putting so much work into this (and all the folks bidding, like you!).

I am not quite sure myself. From my reading it looks like the bidding is open through the 31st, but as of the 28th, if it's clear someone is the final bidder, then the offerer or the moderator will notify them? Or maybe both?

It looks like as of the 28th, if there's not a hot bidding war going on (I can't help thinking of "dibs on Hakkai") then the writer can notify the bidder and get details on what to write and begin work. The story itself can't be posted till the donation is confirmed, (to the mods?). I'm also not sure if we're supposed to post our stories at the auction community.
