Bus Route Info on your iPod

As though I was planning to travel majorly, i though it would be great to have 'information' on my finger tips about the bus route info.

The "data" came into my hands about less than 2 years ago, just when I landed here. bmtc seems to provide a website with a way to know the list of stops where a given bus stops by. I had crawled them and ( Read more... )

Hey that sounds handy.
But I think I will find your CSV more useful :)

I think if you can include the bus timings also...there is nothng like it :)
But that is a lot of information especially since only the start and destination time is given in the bmtc website

and only a few days ago, i was lost in some random place which wasn't included in my 'regex'... Aaarrgggh!

More than the timings (which they don't stick to anyway!) They do mention the overall route length, but I would like to have the distance between two points as well. Yeah, you know where I'm getting to... To find the shortest path :) so we could then have tunable parameters of the tolerance (distance vs max_allowed_buses_per_path) and play with it ;)
