God or no God - that's the question

I just came home from Snowcamp and now I'm thinking about god all the time. Ether they told me the truth or they manipulated me there. There was this really cool dude talking about God and Survivor and basketball and he touched so many of us! If there is a god that we should worship, then Germany does not know how to bring that to the people. But I

Here's how I look at it -- the past of Christianity wasn't necessarily cruel, the people were. God had no part in the crusades and persecutions, and nowadays how people blame him for their grandparents and parents and siblings dying .. it happens. God can't be fair to /everyone/. God is there, and science doesn't prove or disprove that. Sure, I believe in evolution. People didn't evolve from monkeys, we evolved from prehistoric creatures that resembled us today, we are actually strikingly similar to cro magnons

Thank you so much Shelby! You've helped a lot. I also talked about my dad here, who is a christian, but he also has his doubts and therefore he's not a totally faithful one as the people at camp were. Then I talked to my mom in Germany on the phone and she was really helpful, too, because she discussed it with me without saying "this is what I think" at all. I'll probably continue to think about it and I am so glad that I had the Chance3 to go to that amazing Snowcamp event!!!

it was the past of christianity that is cruel, chritians have a tendancy to want everyone to be christian and so, needless to say thats not good either

however it is not a cult their are good and bad christians
the ones that want to believe in their lord and dont try to convince everyone else to are the ones who are true christians

I do believe in God but it is all up to the way you see it nobody should tell you if you should believe he exists or not

seit gestern Abend habe ich das mit dem Snowcamp jetzt auch mal endlich alles verstanden! Vorher wusste ich ja nicht wirklich, worum es ging.... aber jetzt (dank deiner Erklärung)! ;-)
