i ate a steak for breakfast today. it's going to be a good day. i'm in a napoleon dynamite kind of mood. lol. yesterday was really boring. the most exciting thing i did was i decided to hook my effects pedal through my amp's effect loop and that eliminated a very annoying high pitched feedback. i need some inspiration for a song, without it writing ( Read more... )

lol. u guys r slightly older than me... lucky! and i said that i need to GET a chick that can drive, not KNOW a chick that can drive. plus i think there's no chance of me getting catherine anytime soon. :P

it's so crazy it just might work.... lol. i do like being her friend and i wish i was good enough friends with her to where she would drive me places if i was bored. :P

here's some inspiration: cheese. that's right, cheese. i dare you to write a kick-butt song about cheese. or any other food for that matter. pick a food, and write a song about the food. Jon Hendrick, the lyrics writer to just about every single jazz song recorded after 1940, became great by just singing whatever came to the top of his head. you don't necessarily need inspiration, you just need to WRITE. i speaking as a writer and as a friend. great lyrics come from just writing, NOT from thinking about writing.
