My reactions are pretty much set to four settings regardless: flail, indifference, rage and snark. The blog would most likely be comprised of all them.
I am interested, however: what entails "snarking for snark's sake"? Is there any other kind?

I took a critical reviewing class in J-school, and I think the single most important thing the teacher ever told us was that snark is easy, and it becomes a kind of trap, defining your responses for you. He also said the single hardest thing to do was to write an interesting, insightful review of something you loved.
